Etowah County Sheriff Endorses Robertson for AG

Today, Etowah County Sheriff Jonathan Horton announced his full endorsement of Katherine Robertson in the race for Attorney General. Horton cited Robertson’s record of leadership, experience, and Alabama values as motivation leading to his full support.

"I am proud to endorse Katherine Robertson for Attorney General," Sheriff Horton commented. "Katherine has proven time and again that she is willing to fight for a criminal justice system that reflects Alabama’s values. She has been the tip of the spear on some of the most pressing public safety issues facing our state over the last decade. Katherine will make an excellent Attorney General."

As chief counsel in the Attorney General's Office, Robertson has been on the front lines of Alabama's toughest legal battles—from taking on organized crime and trafficking rings to defending Second Amendment rights and shielding families from radical agendas. Robertson continues to press the fight on issues most important to families in Alabama and supporting President Trump’s America-first law-and-order agenda.

Horton's endorsement adds to Robertson's surging momentum. In just a matter of weeks, Robertson’s campaign has secured endorsements from the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA), the Alabama Farmers Federation (ALFA), the Petroleum & Convenience Markers of Alabama (P&CMA) and a growing coalition of county sheriffs and police chiefs from across the state.
